JLS’s Aston Merrygold for Strictly Come Dancing 2017
Aston Merrygold will be one of the celebs taking part in Strictly Come Dancing 2017.
His participation was revealed today (14 August) on Radio 1’s Scott Mills show.

Aston is a singer and songwriter, best-known as one quarter of the successful British band JLS who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2008. The band has sold over ten million records worldwide, had five number one hits, a four-time platinum album, won a MOBO award; and even starred in their very own film ‘JLS – Eyes Wide Open. JLS performed for the last time in 2013 following a mutual decision to split.
In 2013, Aston became a judge on British talent show ‘Got to Dance’ for Sky 1 and is now performing as a solo artist.

Aston joins Simon Rimmer, Joe McFadden, Reverend Richard Coles, Gemma Atkinson, Ruth Langsford, Davood Ghadami and Mollie King in this year’s Strictly line-up. The beeb will announce more celebrities in due course.
