Dramatic Emmerdale sees Finn shot by mum Emma
Finn was seen slumped against a tree following the accidental shooting.
In the build-up to Finn (Joe Gill) taking a bullet in tonight’s (3rd October) episode, Moira (Natalie J. Robb) pleaded with a manic Emma (Gillian Kearney) not to leave her to perish in the barn where a showdown between the two had led to a fire.
Moira’s revelation that she is having her son Pete’s baby spurred Emma into action and she helped her nemesis to safety, before delivering the baby against the backdrop of the flame-engulfed barn.
Moira lost consciousness shortly after the baby was born, but Emma was forced to flee the scene when a wrathful Adam (Adam Thomas) arrived and concluded that she’d hurt his mum.
Armed with a shotgun, Adam pursued Emma into the woods where he demanded she return with him to face the music. However, Emma used the element of surprise, knocking Adam over a log before making off into the woods again – only this time it was she who had the gun.
As Emma sensed Adam following her, she fired the weapon but was unaware that – in doing so – she had actually hit someone. The episode ended with a bloodied Finn slumped against a tree.
