Hannah Spearritt joins EastEnders
S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt is to appear in EastEnders.

The Sun reports that Hannah has been cast as Kandice Taylor, the younger sister of Albert Square regular Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley). Hannah who found fame with the seven-piece pop group in the late 1990s will appear in a couple of episodes of the BBC1 soap later this year.

Hannah’s acting experience includes a lead role in sci-fi drama Primeval, regular appearances in medical saga Casualty and one-off roles in Death in Paradise and Agatha Christie’s Marple.
She is the second member of S Club 7 to appear in the East-London set saga after Jon Lee (pictured in Kathy’s caff below) played Josh, the son of Nigel Bates’ girlfriend Julie, back in 1997. However, this was just before S Club 7 stormed the charts with hits such as Bring It All Back, S Club Party and Never Had a Dream Come True.
