More details on Eamonn Holmes’ new talkRADIO show revealed
The former Sky News and GMTV personality is not just the on-air sound of the new early evening talkRadio programme – but also part of the production company.

The three-hour show which transmits daily from 4pm – 7pm, will be produced by Sixty Billion Broadcast – the new company set up by Holmes, journalist, broadcaster and former heat and Comedy Central UK editor-in-chief Sam Delaney – the man he replaces as host of Talk’s drivetime slot – and former Mentorn Media Executive Producer, Ben Rigden.
The show will be produced by seven-time Sony Award winner and ex-BBC producer Mark Sandell, and will combine a fearless, hard-edged approach to the day’s biggest stories and most controversial issues, with an accessible and humorous touch and open ear to popular culture.
Holmes is one of the regular hosts of ITV daytime magazine series This Morning.
In the 1980s he fronted BBC One daytime rival, Open Air.

Eamonn Holmes on talkRADIO will also have a life beyond the airwaves, with the Sixty Billion production team also creating original content around the stories and issues it covers.
Earlier today talkRADIO revealed schedule changes starting next week. Current mid-morning host Julia Hartley-Brewer moves to Breakfast to share her no-nonsense approach to the biggest stories of the day from 6:30am.
Broadcaster Mike Graham will now present mid-morning from 10am with regular co-host and Theresa May’s former Director of Communications Katie Perrior, to bring you the latest news and political analysis. Jamie East joins talkRADIO from its sister station Virgin Radio, taking on the 1-4pm slot until a brand new presenter is unveiled in April. He’ll be joined by a host of co-hosts including Melanie Sykes.
In the early 1980s Eamonn was a regular personality on regional ITV service UTV in Northern Ireland.
Eamonn was the face of GMTV from 1993 to 2005.
Meanwhile the godfather of speech James Whale continues in the 7-10pm slot (Mon-Thurs) with ever opinionated George Galloway every Friday from 7pm. Award-winning presenter Iain Lee hosts the best late-night speech radio show in the country, fresh from the I’m A Celebrity jungle, at 10pm-1am. Plus there’s a brand new Early Breakfast show with James Max which kicks-off this Monday from 5am following Paul Ross at 1am until 5am (starting on January 22).
Sixty Billion Broadcast is a new independent production company specialising in entertainment, comedy and current affairs, making content for television, radio and digital platforms. The company was formed by journalist and broadcaster Sam Delaney, executive producer Ben Rigden (Make You Laugh Out Loud, The Big Breakfast, Richard & Judy) and broadcasting legend Eamonn Holmes.
