androme.tv launches

androme.tv has launched this week to ‘inject efficiency into the TV platform market’ the company note.

“Maintaining consistency in high user satisfaction is a challenge currently facing the market. In the coming years, this will remain important as telecom companies come under pressure to serve the right content to their end users via, for example, recommendations. Consumers are now highly accustomed to seamless, multi-device streaming platforms. Their location in a piece of content should follow them from mobile to PC to TV screen. Integrations with smart home technologies, such as the Google Home, will become increasingly important in coming years.” – Raf Van Ham, founder of androme.tv

androme.tv is an all-in-one TV platform that solves the challenges telecommunications companies and broadcasters currently face. Previously, Androme has developed TV platforms for telecommunications companies such as Telenet and Liberty Global. Now, the androme.tv platform is live at European telco companies Nowo (Portugal) and Melita (Malta).

Telecom companies face a host of issues today when deciding how to implement a new TV solution. androme.tv is a platform that addresses these issues the company believes.

As technology advances, telco companies need to maintain a competitive advantage in offering the latest TV platform options. However, the deployment of such platforms can last years and demand that a company set their sights on yet another update only shortly after a launch. androme.tv offers, they believe, a complete end-to-end solution with guaranteed time-to-market.

“Across devices, TV platforms require refined functionality that provide users with Live TV, VOD, catch-up, start-over, and local and network PVR. androme.tv’s platform brings together the highest standards that customers are coming to expect from their telco providers. With androme.tv, we offer the TV functionality that is desperately needed in the telecommunications and broadcast industry: the agile and cost efficient deployment of TV platforms. We focus on working this way so we can better adapt to new trends in the competitive and fast-moving TV ecosystem.” – Raf Van Ham, founder of androme.tv
