STV back on the Celebrity Antiques Road Trip for the beeb
STV Productions has been commissioned to produce a further series of long-running hit show Celebrity Antiques Road Trip for BBC Two.

An eighth series of the daytime ratings winner is now in production and follows some of Britain’s best-loved celebrities as they take to the road in vintage cars for a treasure trail around the UK’s antique emporiums.
A line-up of hopeful celeb antiquers will explore Britain’s antique shops in a bid to uncover hidden gems and make the biggest profit by selling them at auction, with all profits going to BBC’s Children in Need.
Previous series of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip have seen famous faces, including Jennifer Saunders, Ricky Tomlinson, Zoe Ball, Brian Blessed, Sally Phillips, Tom Conti, Tanni Grey-Thompson, Charles Dance and Phyllis Logan, put their antiques knowledge and bartering skills to the test on their quest for weird and wonderful antiques. Series seven of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, which aired in November 2017, reached over 15 million people across the UK.
STV Productions is the content creation arm of STV, the Scottish broadcast company which celebrated sixty years on air last August. In entertainment, the company has produced six series of Catchphrase for ITV, game shows And They’re Off…for Sport Relief for BBC One and Babushka for ITV Daytime, as well as The Dressing Room for UKTV’s entertainment channel W.
STV Productions became famous for its quality returnable drama series and most recently secured its first BBC drama commission – four part thriller The Victim for BBC One, which is now in pre-production. Previous drama productions include Taggart and Rebus for ITV.
