Eternal’s Kelle Bryan joins the cast of Hollyoaks
Kelle Bryan, former Eternal band member, has joined the Hollyoaks cast as Martine Deveraux.
Air hostess and sister of Simone Loveday (Jacqueline Boatswain), Martine arrives on Leela (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) and Louis’s (Karl Collins) doorstep soon after Louis’ return to Hollyoaks village, dropping a bombshell.
“I watched Hollyoaks back in the day and I loved it, so to be joining the team is just fab! It’s a stellar cast of actors and we are simply having a blast working together. Playing Miss Deveraux is such fun – she says and does all of the things I would never dare to.” – Kelle Bryan
Singer and actress Kelle is best known as a quarter of one of Britain’s most successful R&B groups, Eternal, alongside sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett and Louise Redknapp. Their hits include I Wanna Be the Only One, Stay and Power of a Woman.
Kelle has performed in many Musical Theatre productions and made her West End debut in 2017 in Wings while TV roles include in Thames police saga The Bill and BBC comedy Me & Mrs Jones.
“I’m blessed to have some diverse and thought-provoking story lines that I am personally passionate about and looking forward to getting my teeth stuck into. Enjoy the ride!” – Kelle Bryan
Lime Pictures, who make Hollyoaks for Channel 4, note that she will be on screen in October.
