True Entertainment bring a day of Royal documentaries to screens

To celebrate Harry and Meghan’s first wedding anniversary True Entertainment will be airing a special line-up of royal documentaries next month.

The Royal Couple mark a year together next month. True Entertainment is celebrating with a day of programming.

Highlights from the line up include Harry and Meghan: A Very Modern Romance.  This documentary explores the social background that makes this adventurous marriage seem thoroughly in keeping with the new commitments of the British Royal Family.

Following in the tradition of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Harry and Meghan are thoroughly in step with the hopes and aspirations of the young in Britain and indeed the world. Contributors include best-selling authors Andrew Morton (Diana: Her True Story and Meghan: A Hollywood Princess), Jeffrey Archer (Kain and Abel); historians Sir Anthony Seldon, Sarah Bradford and Viscountess Bango and royal journalists Richard Kay (Daily Mail), Katie Nicholl (Mail on Sunday, Vanity Fair) and Emily Nash (Hello!) all offer their thoughts on the royal couple.

In Prince Harry at 30 the documentary brings together archive footage and contributions from friends, military  colleagues, historians, journalists, photographers and royal correspondents, this hour-long documentary explores every iconic moment in the prince’s life. The programme gives an insight into Harry’s military career, his charity work, family life and his public duty and explores what makes him such a well-respected and well-liked member of the Royal Family.

And in William and Kate: Into the Future the programme takes a look at how Kate went from student to royal girlfriend to a modern day princess.

What started as the wedding of the century, has become one of the most observed royal marriages of our time. Using the finest film footage available, including little-known material this is a magnificent record of a wonderful partnership, an incredible and memorable royal celebration and a new life into the future.
