Viewers pick their favourite daytime personalities and programmes

Who has been deemed the nations favourite telly personalities?

This Morning is hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for ITV.

Well its ITV personalities in the top of the votes with Holly Willoughby positioned as the UK’s favourite female TV personality, while Bradley Walsh is crowned King of the small screen.

National treasure, Holly Willoughby, has been crowned the UK’s favourite female TV star, from hosting daytime magazine series This Morning to goofing around over on ITV2 with Keith Lemon on Celebrity Juice Holly has become a telly favourite with both male and female viewers of all ages.

The same can be said for former Wheel of Fortune host Bradley Walsh, who took the favourite male TV star gong. Bradley has recently been seen on factual series Breaking Dad with his with son Barney, taken in a role over in Coronation Street and hosted series such as Tonight at the London Palladium and of course hit game show The Chase

Recently GalaBingo.com asked 1,500 Brits to reveal their go-to daytime TV programmes, and also vote on their favourite TV presenters and personalities.

The Chase is a big hit for ITV Daytime.

The Gala Bingo players collective results conclude that the nation’s top ten favourite TV personalities are in first place Bradley Walsh (22%) followed by Holly Willoughby (20%) and Holly’s This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield (18%).

Despite recent financial disasters with his restaurants Jamie Oliver is still a television draw to Channel 4 (15%) to his food shows including Jamie Oliver’s 15 Minute Meals while back over on ITV Robert Rinder (10%) took 5th place with his legal decisions series Judge Rinder.

BBC One daytime personality Tim Wonnacott (10%) of Bargain Hunt took the next spot with 7th most popular telly personality going to Jeremy Kyle (9%) who hosts for ITV The Kyle Files. The poll was conducted, it should be noted, before the axing of The Jeremy Kyle Show earlier this month.

Former Bargain Hunt presenter and current Antiques Road Trip narrator Tim Wonnacott made the list.

It is fellow ITV personality Ben Shephard host of Tipping Point and Good Morning Britain next on the list (8%) while BBC One’s Alexander Armstrong of Pointless fame is next (8%). Finally its BBC daytime’s Dominic Littlewood, best known for Fake Britain (8%).

The data shows that London and Norwich were the only cities to not vote either Bradley or Holly as their favourite daytime TV personalities, with one in five Londoners choosing Jamie Oliver as their number one.

It was also revealed that we just can’t get enough of Phillip and Holly’s shenanigans, as This Morning was also the UK’s favourite daytime TV watch. Quiz show, The Chase, took second place, closely followed behind by old-time classic, Bargain Hunt.

Robert Rinder is a popular TV host.

The favourite programmes differ across the UK though, with Northern Ireland enjoying Tipping Point and Scots favour The Chase.
