Woking its way back to the Undercover Festival
Next Month Undercover Festival is back home to Woking, Surrey.
“We have been asked why back to the Woking area? Well Elaine from the venue used to be part of the Undercover team back in the day as I was actually born in Woking we thought why not” – Mick, Undercover Festival
Next month Undercover Festival is coming back home to Woking – the area where the event started seven years ago. The gig is back for two packed days of alternative music including punk and post punk, at The Fiery Bird Venue Woking on the 13th and 14th September 2019.
Spear of Destiny will appear on the Friday as part of their UK tour, celebrating the 35th anniversary of their seminal album “One Eyed Jacks”.
There will also be a veritable feast of alternative music including Towers Of London to name only one of many groups lined up to perform. Others include 1919, The Satellites and The Blue Carpet Band.
The Fiery Bird venue is located two minutes from Woking station, 25 minutes direct from Waterloo and direct from Portsmouth.
“At Undercover you won’t find any of that X Factor schmaltz so my message to the people of Woking come along and find out what the fuss is about and if you like your music alternative you will love what we have to off at Undercover… as we say at Undercover “See Ya Down The Front”. – Mick, Undercover Festival
