Krept and Konan hit the road for winter 2019 gigs

Krept and Konan announce UK and Ireland tour for winter 2019.

“Krept and Konan have long cemented themselves in the elite tier of the UK rap scene… The most striking thing about Krept & Konan’s live show is the sharpness of their lyrics and the unmitigated ferocity of their delivery” – Q

Rap duo Krept and Konan have announced their upcoming 2019 headline UK & Ireland Tour.

The gigs will see the boys head out on the road again for the first time since their headline sell-out show at Alexandra Palace last Autumn. Encompassing eight shows in eight cities the tour will kick off in November in Ireland before wrapping up in London, England in December.

Tickets go on sale at 9am, Thursday August 29th, following the pre-sale event which takes place from 9am on Tuesday August 27th with tickets on sale at livenation.co.uk. Fans can get access to the pre-sale by pre-ordering the forthcoming, yet to be announced album via the official Krept and Konan store

The announcement of the tour follows the release of I Spy FT. Headie One and K Trap which debuted at number 18 in the UK charts. The release has become Krept and Konan’s second top twenty single and was the first official single to be lifted from their forthcoming second studio album.

I Spy came hot on the heels of their release of Ban Drill – with its accompanying Rapman directed short film – which addressed the controversial move by the State and the Police to ban Drill music. In 2017 the duo made history with 7 Days and 7 Nights when they became the first act ever to have two mixtapes simultaneously enter the UK Album Chart’s Top Ten. Their activities over the past year include appearances at the Wireless, Reading and Leeds Festivals and the successful launch of their own restaurant in their native Croydon.
