Patsy Palmer joins Lorraine show for LA specials
Actress Patsy Palmer will be joining Lorraine for a new series about her life in Los Angeles.

Three-part series Patsy’s LA State of Mind kicks off at the beginning of September on Lorraine as the former EastEnders star invites viewers to LA to experience a number of well-being crazes sweeping the USA, including taking part in breath work using sacred tobacco; trying a CDB tea [containing a non-psychoactive constituent of the cannabis plant] and meeting a shaman who’s helped A-lister Gwyneth Paltrow.
On what she misses most about the UK, following her move to LA in 2014, Patsy said: “Charley my son but he travels all over the world anyway so sometimes we miss each other even if I’m back but he works here sometimes. He surprised us the other day which was amazing [by coming to LA].”
The actress also joked that she doesn’t get fans shouting her famous phrase ‘Rickaaaay’ to her as often in LA, “There are not as many Ricky’s here, thank God!” Speaking about whether she would ever be tempted back to the UK, she added: “I can always imagine living back in the UK as I’ve been there my whole life. But I’d rather imagine something else If I were to travel from here.”
On what the future holds, she explained she would not be heading into the jungle any time soon, saying: “I won’t do I’m a Celebrity, they ask me every year I’m too afraid of spiders and snakes. It wouldn’t be enjoyable for me. I know friends that have done it and loved it though.”
Patsy added that she was looking forward to joining Lorraine Kelly on her show this autumn, as the presenter marks her 35th anniversary of working in broadcast.

EastEnders fans will soon see Patsy’s iconic soap alter-ego Bianca Jackson back on their screens after the actress recently reprised the role during a visit to the UK. Bianca returns to Walford for the wedding of her stepdaughter Whitney (Shona McGarty), however Whitney is presented with a dilemma before the wedding when her fiancé Callum Highway (Tony Clay) confesses all to her about his recent fling with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden).
Bianca’s return will also see her struggle to reconnect with her other daughter Tiffany (Maisie Smith), who feels that her mum hasn’t been there for her over the past couple of years.
