Sky drama Catherine The Great to launch on 3 October
Helen Mirren takes on the role of the iconic Russian Empress in the original production for Sky drama.
Sky will make the full series available on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV on Thursday 3rd October, with a linear playout at 9pm.
The cast also includes Jason Clarke, Gina McKee and Rory Kinnear.
Written by Nigel Williams and directed by Philip Martin, the drama follows across four instalments the latter years of the Catherine The Great’s (Helen Mirren) reign and her passionate affair with Grigory Potemkin (Jason Clarke) with themes of scandal, intrigue and immense conflict.
