Charlie Condou joins Holby City

Condou has taken on the role of play Ben, a new locum surgeon on the Keller ward.

The character is set to stir up the dynamics in the hospital, and it won’t be long before he catches the eye of someone in the team…

The show’s Executive Producer Simon Harper said that he can’t wait to see to the new arrival ‘getting under the skin of his colleagues’, adding that Condou is a ‘popular TV face’.

Condou’s credits include The Key to Rebecca, Casualty and Midsomer Murders, however he is best known for his role as midwife Marcus Dent in ITV’s Coronation Street.

Holby City viewers will see Charlie on screen as Ben from December on BBC One.
