One to Watch: Strictly Come Dancing: Halloween Night, BBC One at 6.35pn
The 11 remaining devilish duos will again take to the floor to perform the below routines, hoping to spellbind the judges in the studio and viewers at home. Tonight Alex and Neil street dance to Ghostbusters, Catherine and Johannes cha cha to Scared of the Dark, Emma and Anton tango to Toccata and Fugue in D Minor while Emma and Aljaz charleston to A Little Party Never Killed Nobody. The Addams Family theme tune sees Michelle and Giovanni perform a foxtrot to it, Saffron and AJ jive to Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) is the song for Chris and Karen to samba to while Karim and Amy paso doble to Smalltown Boy and Kelvin and Oti tango to Bad Guy. There’s also another tango in the show as Mike and Katya take to the floor with What You Waiting For and finally its a jive for Will and Janette to the Casper (the friendly ghost) theme. The four terrifying judges, Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel-Horwood, and Motsi Mabuse, will then score each dance out of ten. Lines open at the end of the show, giving viewers a chance to vote for their favourite guys and ghouls. Overall favourite Kelvin Fletcher is the top celeb mooted for victory this weekend at 5/2, ahead of Karim Zeroual – whilst Mike Bushell is odds-on to go having survived last week via the Dance Off according to OddsMonkey.

The Jonathan Ross Show, ITV, STV and UTV at 10.10pmOn this week’s episode of The Jonathan Ross Show, Jonathan is joined by the judges of Strictly Come Dancing, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood and Motsi Mabuse; former One Direction member turned solo artist, Liam Payne; star of the cult series, Queer Eye, Jonathan Van Ness and comedian Nish Kumar. Plus Tom Walker performs. On this year’s Strictly series, Shirley said: “I think it’s the most unpredictable series of all time, actually. Every week something different is changing and yes, it’s the best season ever.” On this year’s celebrity contenders being more nervous this year, Craig said: “I think they are [nervous] as a matter of fact, I think particularly this year. They take it really seriously.” On harsh comments made on social media around the series and the judges’ decisions, Craig said: “This is to do with Dev [a former contestant] I would imagine. Everyone in the group, especially us as judges, all said professionally that he was the one that should leave and I defend that, of course I’m going to defend that because that was the decision on the night… I’d love to be able to do a big sum up and then put someone through but it’s not about that. The dance off is literally about who was good on that night and who did the best on the night.” On death threats they had received online, Shirley said: “Somebody put a picture with my face on it digging my own grave [with a comment] ‘Die B*tch’ and put me on a chicken spit.” |
