Bake Off winner David Atherton joins Jo Brand for an extra slice

Jo Brand is joined by celebrity guests Harry Hill, Prue Leith and Rylan Clark-Neal to look back over the dramatic Bake Off final that saw the ‘underdog’ David Atherton win the series.

Jo is also joined by both runners-up and, of course, David while the rest of this year’s bakers make a welcome return to the Extra Slice studio.

Prue reveals why she and Paul chose their ultimate champion, and as ever there are loads of outtakes and the best and worst bakes from viewers at home, and Tom Allen does a final sweep of the studio audience to judge their bakes and serve some up to the panel. The heat is on as the final three bakers are put through their paces – was it a flying start in the chocolate cake Signature? Who rose in the soufflé Technical? And after an incredible illusion Showstopper, did the panel back the right baker to win?

Harry Hill returns later in the Channel 4 schedules at 11.05pm with the second edition of Clubnite a combination of controlled chaos and Harry’s favourite funny people.

Joining Jools as co-host tonight is the energetic and extremely talented Birmingham rapper and freestyle queen Lady Leshurr, having wowed the show last year with a visually exciting performance of her Black Panther freestyle. The MC is currently working on her debut album and penning a book at the same time.

Created by Verónica Fernández and directed by Jorge Torregrossa, Hache is inspired by true events. It tells the story of Helena (Adriana Ugarte), a prostitute who starts as a simple pawn in the hands of Malpica (Javier Rey), the head of a gangster band that operates in Barcelona in the 1960s. But a steep and hazardous learning curve takes Helena from the lowest rung of the organization to the top, seizing control of the heroin operation.

Among the group of men led by Malpica, two stand out: the unstoppable Arístides and lawyer Julio Senovilla, played by Marc Martínez and Pep Ambròs respectively. On the right side of the law is the newly established Narcotics Brigade, led by inspector Alejandro Vinuesa (Eduardo Noriega), his partner Eladio Pérez (Josep Julien), and the Commissioner Clemente Larrubia, (Álex Casanovas). Marina Salas (Three Steps Above Heaven, The Boat, I Want You) features in the role of Silvia Velasco, the Commissioner’s secretary.

At the heart of the Hache story is The Albatross Club, a venue with a soul of its own, a night club where foreign visitors, young gentlemen from the city, disheveled girls, and vain denizens lose themselves in the music of the time. This club is the operations center for Malpica’s gang. Celeste, played by Ingrid Rubio who’s in charge of the club. The club’s main musical attraction is Julia Bloomsbury, played by the British actress Tonia Richardson, a singer who is always accompanied by the piano of Ramiro Larrocha (Toni Zenet).

One probably doesn’t think of Shane Richie and caravans in the same thought very often, but here we are now on the third episode of this Channel 5 series that is packed with advice, tips and adventure.

Shane’s destination this week is a vast site in North Yorkshire with its very own theme park and zoo. The place is so big that guests can call for a golf buggy taxi just to take them to their accommodation. Shane takes a buggy to his super-sized state of the art caravan lodge.

Mingling with the camp regulars Shane has a Sunday roast with June while Derek showcases his fabulous garden. Talent oozes in the Richie family and this week’s episodes also features Shane Jr, who is booked to perform with his band at the entertainment centre. Shane decides to show his son the highlights of holidays at a caravan park.

Temple, Sky One at 9pm

It’s the eighth and final episode in this first series of Temple on Sky One this evening.

Despite their personal relationships being in tatters, Daniel, Lee and Anna have to join forces when Mercy and Keith track them down.

Jamie is lured from the clinic and chased through the streets of London by the wily Hall and Moloney, while Daniel, Lee and Anna are forced to discover just how far they’re prepared to go to save themselves in the series finale of the gripping Sky original.
