RuPaul’s Drag Race UK gets second series

The Beeb have confirmed a second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK for 2020.

The corporation note that the first series has proven a big success for BBC Three notching up 6.5 million iPlayer requests to date.

The series – released incrementally on the catch-up service, every Thursday night at 8pm – puts queens through their paces with one contestant eliminated each week.

Stateside the show has been nominated for a record-breaking 29 Emmys with 13 wins.
