Helen Flanagan: No firm plans for Corrie return
Helen Flanagan has said she would like to return to Coronation Street but noted that it’s hard fitting it in around motherhood.
The actress has played Sally and Kevin’s daughter Rosie Webster in the ITV, STV and UTV aired soap since 2000.
Rosie, having become a model, left Weatherfield to star in a reality TV Show in February 2012, with the character returning in February 2016 through until April last year when Helen took maternity leave.
Speaking to the Sunday People, Helen admitted that she hasn’t kept up with the soap since she left as some of the sad plots hit home for her as a mum.
“I’ll go back but I’m just trying to work it out with the kids. When you are a mum babies come first,” she added of a potential return.
Helen currently lives in Scotland with Celtic footballer Scott Sinclair. The couple have two children Matilda, four, and 18-month-old Delilah.
“I had hyperemesis (extreme morning sickness),” Helen told the tabloid. “I’ve had that twice, if I didn’t have that I would have another child, so I will have to wait until Delilah is older and more independent.”
The actress further noted that she is helped out by a nanny a few times a week and insisted that there is no shame in it. She added that she is a diet-sceptic and keeps in shape by constantly being “on the move”.
