Sophie Ellis-Bextor to enjoy Carols by Candlelight
Sophie Ellis-Bextor is having a “very merry Christmas” this year at the mothers2mothers’ Carols by Candlelight.

The 40-year-old pop-star – who shares five children with her rockstar husband Richard Jones, bassist for The Feeling – is the latest celebrity announced to read at the service. The charity’s annual Christmas concert, mothers2mothers’ Carols by Candlelight.
mothers2mothers is an organisation that unlocks the power of women to eliminate childhood AIDS and create healthy families.
Also reading at the carol concert are Downton Abbey stars, Samantha Bond and Matt Barber; Poldark actor Christian Brassington and there will be a special performance from The London African Gospel Choir.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor has recently been unveiled as a support act for Westlife, Lionel Richie and Madness at the first-ever YorkFestival. Other support acts include Take That’s Howard Donald, All Saints and Scouting for Girls.
