Narrated by Slade frontman Noddy Holder, ‘Britain’s Craziest Christmas Lights’ follows some of UK’s most festive homeowners as they transform their suburban semis into arctic wonderlands for Christmas 2019.

This warm-hearted documentary meets four sets of Christmas lights obsessives who will do whatever it takes to put on stunning displays. In Bristol, builder brothers Lee and Paul take over their childhood home to put on one of the West Country’s biggest extravaganzas. This year is their 25th anniversary—they have been lighting up the neighbourhood since 1994, and spend a whopping £1,000 a year on festivities.

It is a precision operation,but that doesn’t stop sibling disagreements… But 25 years is a drop in the ocean for lights pioneer Dave—he has been transforming his Hertfordshire semi into a dazzling festive palace since 1974. He is now gearing up for his 41st big switch-on, but at 86 years old, will he be quite so hands-on? He has a host of potential celebrities lined up to turn on the lights, from Brian Connelly to Danny Dyer —but who will make it on the night?

For Wayne and his dad John, the Christmas light show must go on, despite sadly losing his mum to cancer. Back in 2013, Wayne’s Derbyshire display was meant to be lights and music in perfect harmony, but it hit a bum note.

This year he has a new control room (aka shed) and new computer software. So can he pull of the perfect spectacular?

Why, when the Titanic received several warnings of icebergs ahead, did the captain steam full speed towards them without changing course?

Two hours after the collision, the Titanic was safely afloat before she inexplicably gave way and took hundreds of passengers to their deaths. What happened to make her sink so rapidly? Titanic: The New Evidence brings to life, in full moving colour, recently unearthed photographs of the launch and maiden voyage of RMS Titanic.

The photographs reveal an intriguing clue: a previously unseen mark on the hull that launches investigative journalist and Titanic expert Senan Molony into a fresh investigation into the mystery of the sinking. Senan discovers that behind the dark mark a fire was raging in the ship’s boiler rooms: a fire ultimately responsible for the most controversial tragedy in maritime history.
