This week in Albert Square everyone anxiously awaits the outcome of Whitney’s bail hearing.
Kheerat is most impressed with Chantelle’s work ethic, still, its a struggle getting that work-life balance she’s relieved when Mitch offers to help as she struggles to balance work and home life. However, she’s not so happy when Mitch discovers Gray’s therapy card and has to think of excuses, leaving her panic-struck. later Chantelle panics when Mitch finds Gray’s therapy card.
Ahead of his meeting with Barry Grant from Brookside, aka Danny, Ben ponders a plot to stay in control. Elsewhere, Callum prepares for his police assessment is left feeling a tad suspicious after Ruby informs him that Ben is popping to the club.
Things go a bit tits-up when Callum pops into the club and Danny learns of Callum’s involvement with the law giving him a mean threat this in turn forces Ben to come clean about his loss of hearing. Livid, Ben lashes out at Callum and storms off later indulging in a bit of flirting with Hugo, a punter in the Prince Albert and as the two become fruity Ben later steals his car and ends up pulled over by the police and arrested.
Across the Square, Linda makes progress following her support group but Shirley and Tina are alarmed when she goes to fetch Ollie from school. At school, Linda apologies to Shelley but is embarrassed when Shelley shares some home truths. Isaac diffuses the situation by asking Linda to help at the school.
Also this week Ian is feeling deep guilt where Sharon is concerned due to his involvement in the demise of Dennis. He thinks he may have come up with a cunning and workable plan, which considering it’s Ian Beale is incredibly unlikely. Across the Square, Habiba flirts up a storm with Jags but is left frustrated when he doesn’t notice. Later as the pair grow close, Habiba reminds Jags of his previous comments as he realises he’s been strung along.
