The team from Saturday Kitchen will be dishing up a daily dose of live cooking as much of the nation continues to stay at home.
Daily Kitchen Live will be hosted by chef Matt Tebbutt who will dish up healthy, wholesome and accessible meals for all. There will also be tips for cooks of all levels. The audience at home will pose questions to the team and offer their own tips.
Journalist and author Jack Monroe, behind such titles as Tin Can Cook and Cooking On A Bootstrap, will join Matt in the studio each weekday morning. Jack says that some of us have had to change dramatically the way we cook over the past few weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The way some of us cook has changed dramatically over the last few weeks, and rustling up nutritious, no-nonsense dinners in the current climate can be a challenge – but it’s incredibly important!” – Jack Monroe
The show will follow the same format of Saturday Kitchen which will feature cooking, challenges and archive clips from BBC Food.
Daily Kitchen Live will launch on Monday 13th April at 10.00am on BBC One, airing for two weeks.
