Two Casualty characters to leave

It’s been revealed that Casualty, the long running BBC drama series, will see the departure of two characters in March.

According to Casualty fan-site Holby.tv two characters are set to bow out of Casualty next month. Actresses Janine Mellor and Ivana Basic have both decided to leave the medical drama and will last be seen on-screen towards the end of March. Actress Janine Mellor has played Nurse Kelsey since the summer of 2005 and has been involved in several big storylines including a storyline involving prostitution. Ivana Basic joined the series last year as Serbian paramedic Snezana and has also been at the centre of several storylines during her brief stint on the show.
