Search on for new Emmerdale Sponsor

A new sponsor for ITV’s soap Emmerdale is being sought as the contract with the soap’s current sponsor, Reckitt Benckiser, runs out.

ITV has begun searching for a new sponsor for its Yorkshire soap Emmerdale as the contract with its current sponsor, Reckitt Benckiser, runs out shortly and will not be renewed. The company has sponsored Emmerdale for four years. Two years ago sponsorship of fellow soap Coronation Street switched from Cadbury’s to Harvey’s. Emmerdale and Coronation Street aren’t the only sponsored programmes on ITV with crime drama’s also being sponsored as well as The Bill.
