Angel actor Andy Hallett passes away

Andy Hallett, best known for his role of Lorne in Buffy spin-off series Angel, has died of heart failure.

 

Actor and singer Andy Hallett has died from heart failure at the age of 33, his agent confirmed to E! Online. The actor was probably best known for his role of Lorne in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off series Angel.

Hallett’s character was originally a recurring character but proved popular with fans of the show and was made a regular by the final series of the spin-off. In all the actor appeared in more than 70 episodes of Angel across its five year run.

Since the show’s demise in 2004 the actor had been concentring on his musical career, appearing across America.
