Former Emmerdale ‘actress’, Dancing on Ice contestant and tabloid favourite Roxanne Pallet has pulled out of performances with the British Shakespeare Company just days before the opening night. The ‘actress’ took on the Shakespearian roles to ‘prove’ herself as a credible actress to her critics.
Roxanne Pallet, former Emmerdale actress and tabloid favourite, has pulled out of her planned appearances in two Shakespeare plays with the British Shakespeare Company. Pallet’s withdrawal from the roles come just days before the opening night. The actress, who was a contestant in the recent series of Dancing on Ice, was due to appear in Much Ado About Nothing and Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Following her stint on the ice the “actress” agreed to take part in the series’ live tour with several fellow contestants. The tour finished last month but according to a statement released by Pallet’s agent the tour reduced her time rehearsing for the plays and the actress decided to pull out. Pallet’s first performance was due to be on this Friday. Pallet’s roles in the plays will be taken on by Claire Mc Graham.
When Pallet originally took on the Shakespeare roles she said it was to prove herself as a “credible” actress to her critics.
