BBC Three has announced that its 60Seconds news programme will have two new presenters as it approaches its 10th birthday. Sam Naz will present Monday – Thursday, Claudia-Liza Armah will present at the weekend. 60Seconds provides viewers with the latest news from the the BBC and is produced by the same team as the BBC One 8pm news update.

“The 60seconds team have done an invaluable job of delivering all the big headlines over the past 10 years in short, snappy bulletins. They continue to be a fantastic source of news for BBC Three’s young audience, who are less likely to watch traditional news programmes. I’m delighted to be able to confirm Sam Naz and Claudia-Liza Armah as our new anchors on the team.” – Zai Bennett, BBC Three Controller.

60Seconds is 10 years old on 16th July, which began on BBC Choice and switching to BBC Three in 2003. Sam has said that she is “really excited” to be joining on the programme’s birthday. Claudia say that she has been an “avid viewer” since its launch.
