Hollyoaks actress Helen Pearson is leaving the soap
The Frankie Osborne star has already filmed her final scenes.
According to The Sun, show bosses recently threw Pearson a leaving do which they tried to pass off as someone else’s in a bid to keep her departure under wraps.
“Helen’s absence will really be felt as she is part of the furniture at Hollyoaks. But she’s off to pastures new and it has been a really hard decision.” – a source told The Sun
The actress reportedly wrapped up filming with the serial last month and viewers will be able to see her final scenes later this month. She has played the role of Frankie for 15 years.
Last week Lime Pictures who produce Hollyoaks revealed that actor Colin Wells is returning to the show as Frankie’s ex-husband Johnno who will ask her to leave the village with him.
Pearson was no stranger to soap when she joined the Hollyoaks cast in 2002 as she’d previously had roles in EastEnders as market trader April and (pictured below) Emmerdale as Carol Wareing.
