Phelan has murder in mind in tonight’s Corrie

Newly-released pictures preview the drama as Coronation Street baddie Pat Phelan takes his evil deeds to another level tonight.

In Wednesday’s (25th October) episodes, viewers saw Phelan meet with his former con partner Vinny Ashford (Ian Kelsey) to discuss his share of the proceeds from their flats scam, which Vinny scarpered with.

Coming face-to-face with Vinny, Phelan wasted no time in taking his revenge; punching and drugging him before chaining him up next to a confused Andy. Phelan had convinced terrified Andy Carver (Oliver Farnworth), his first hostage, that he will set him free if he helps take Vinny hostage as his ‘replacement’.

However, it becomes clear tonight (27th October) that Phelan has murder in mind and that Andy will have to terminate his fellow hostage’s life in order to secure his freedom. 

In the sinister gloom of an abandoned paper factory there’s a sense of foreboding as Phelan hands Andy a gun and exhorts him to pull the trigger. Will Andy give in to Phelan’s murderous demands?
