Ashleigh & Pudsey, Only Boys Aloud through to Britain's Got Talent final
Ashleigh & Pudsey and Only Boys Aloud become the first acts to make it through to the Britain’s Got Talent final.
Nine acts took to the stage earlier this evening for the first live semi-final of 2012. Zipparah Tafari, The Jive Aces, Lauren Thalia, United We Stand, Analiza Ching and Rachel Knowland failed to gain enough public votes.
The top three were announced as The Mend, Ashleigh & Pudsey and Only Boys Aloud. The dog act topped the vote and was automatically through to the live final. This left rap-band The Mend and choir Only Boys Aloud facing the judges vote. Here is who they voted to save:
David Walliams – Only Boys Aloud
Alesha Dixon – The Mend
Amanda Holden – Only Boys Aloud
Simon Cowell – The Mend
Simon said that he could not decide and wanted to see what the public had said. The public vote showed that Only Boys Aloud had more votes than The Mend, meaning they go through with the dancing dog to the live final.
The semi-finals continue this week on ITV 1.
