Emmerdale: Zak is sectioned

Zak is sectioned this week over fears he could be a danger to himself.
After being admitted to hospital after falling unconscious at the hands of Cain, Zak’s mental state becomes apparent to the doctors. Fearing that he could be a danger to himself following the latest incident, Dr Stamford tells Lisa and the family and inform them that he needs to be sectioned.
Debbie finds out that it was Zak who attacked her father last year but suggests Cain is the reason why Zak has ended up the way he has. Later in the week Zak agrees to meet with Lisa and Belle, but Lisa remains anxious.
Elsewhere Sean continues to misread the signals Ruby is putting out. When Ruby goes to talk to him after a row with Ali and Dan, he moves in to kiss her, but Ruby pulls back leaving Sean humiliated. Upset he tells Dan that Ruby tried to kiss him, leading to another showdown between him and Ali. Dan begins to spread gossip around the village as he insists the kids will be living with him from now on.
Emmerdale will air on Sunday at 7.30pm, Monday – Friday at 7.00pm and Thursday at 8.00pm on ITV 1
