UKTV is Sliced

UKTV channel Dave is to air three-part comedy, Sliced.

Starring and co-written by BAFTA-nominated Samson Kayo, Sliced is a UKTV Original following Joshua (Kayo) and his best mate Ricky (Theo Barklem) as two pizza delivery drivers in South London.

The comedy focuses on Joshua and Ricky, two mates who just want to make some money, move out of their mums’ and meet some women – is that too much to ask for? If only all the ridiculous stuff that keeps happening to them would stop getting in the way.

Sliced is just the latest exciting new addition to the raft of UKTV Originals on Dave. It joins other established scripted commissions such as Zapped, currently in its third series, and Porters.

And Dave continues to work with the biggest names in British comedy, with the ever-increasing popularity of Taskmaster, Judge Romesh, Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier, Beat The Internet with John Robins and brand new panel show Hypothetical, hosted by Josh Widdicombe with James Acaster. Expedition with Steve Backshall, a brand new co-production with BBC, airs in 2019.
