Amy Childs and Harry Derbidge to present BAFTA Award

Former The Only Way Is Essex stars Amy Childs and Harry Derbidge are to present this year’s BAFTA You Tube Audience Award.
The two became household names due to their participation in ITV2‘s hit reality series The Only Way Is Essex, dubbed TOWIE by the press and fans. Neither are part of the cast of the series now though as Childs quit to appear in Celebrity Big Brother and Derbidge later followed in her footsteps – the two are expected to appear together in a new Channel Five series.
It has been announced that Childs and Derbidge will present this year’s BAFTA You Tube Audience Award, the category that TOWIE won in last year’s ceremony. It is the only category to be voted for by the public and Towie’s win was certainly controversial with some viewers. Nominated in the category this year are Sherlock, Fresh Meat and Frozen Planet as well as The Great British Bake Off, Educating Essex and hit ITV2 panel series Celebrity Juice.
