CBS Renews Rules of Engagement

Comedy Rules of Engagement has been renewed for a seventh season.

The ultimate “bubble” show has been renewed by CBS bringing to a close the broadcasters renewals and axings. The broadcaster has now either renewed or axed its raft of programmes for the coming season. Rules of Engagement stars David Spade and Patrick Warburton.

The comedy will premier mid-season, likely as a replacement for any swiftly cancelled series, and so far 13 episodes have been ordered. Interestingly Entertainment Weekly reports that Rules of Engagement is CBS’s fifth most watched comedy slightly ahead of How I Met Your Mother despite its “bubble status”.
