Ant and Dec unsure of ‘Red or Black?’ future

Ant and Dec are unsure if the ITV 1 million pound game-show Red or Black? will be back for a second series

The so called ‘TV event’ last week failed to attract viewers to watch contestants battle it out to win £1 million live by either choosing red or black. Last Thursday the main episode was beaten by long running consumer programme Watchdog on BBC One.

Speaking to The Sun, Dec said: It was our first series and we all learned a lot from it. I think we can improve the show. We’ll just see what ITV says — they’re the ones who sign the cheques.” The programme hit the national press when it was revealed that the first winner has been to prison for assault but failed to tell ITV bosses the full nature of what had happened. Ant spoke about this, saying: “The scandal around Nathan didn’t put a damper on the series for me. We made four millionaires, which we set out to do, so we were pleased in that way.”
