BBC Studioworks appoints Andrew Moultrie as CEO

He will head up the commercial subsidiary that provides world-class studios and post production services to the media industry.

Andrew begins his new role in early November and succeeds David Conway who is joining ITN as its Chief Financial and Operations Officer.

Currently Managing Director, Consumer Products & Publishing, UK, BBC Studios, Andrew has been responsible for a range of businesses including merchandising, interactive gaming, publishing, marketing and brand management.

Andrew’s successes include making the children’s businesses more profitable, the identification and commercialisation of YouTube talents Joe & Caspar and Joe Wicks and bringing Chris Harris into the BBC via Top Gear.com. In addition, his team spearheaded the #sustainableme campaign with the UK fashion industry and has received numerous accolades from Google for their work in the virtual reality and augmented reality sphere.

Prior to joining the BBC, Andrew has held a variety of sales, marketing and creative roles spanning an international career with leading brands including Nike, Goldman Sachs, PepsiCo International and Warner Bros.
