This Morning search for Wizard of Oz Toto for special edition
This year’s Halloween theme on This Morning will be none other than ‘The Wizard of Oz.’
“The ‘Wizard of Oz’ is one of Hollywood’s oldest, most famous and much loved stories. And with the 1939 Judy Garland film celebrating its 80th birthday this year, our This Morning Halloween show is set to be the best reimagining yet.” – This Morning Editor Martin Frizell
With Phillip Schofield appearing as the Scarecrow and Holly Willoughby as Dorothy, the magazine programme is launching ‘Wizard Of Pawz: Our Search for Toto’, a nationwide search for a dog who will join them as Toto for the Halloween episode.
To enter viewers will need to download the free This Morning app and upload a video of their skilled pooch, alongside a short description of why they would make the best Toto yet. Any dog can be entered and entries are now open, closing on Monday 14th October at 5pm.
The search for Toto will be overseen by Kem Cetinay and the furry candidates will be assessed by a panel of judges including Ashleigh Butler – who, alongside the late Pudsey, were the first dog trick act to win Britain’s Got Talent, Dr. Scott Miller – This Morning’s resident vet and Oli Juste – dog behaviourist.
“Toto is the ultimate dog role and I can’t wait to see the breadth of doggy talent on offer from This Morning viewers’ pet pooches.” – Ashleigh Butler
Soo excited about “this morning’s search for ToTo” they are doing for their Halloween Wizard of Oz special. Entry in and we’re keeping our fingers, toes, paws, claws crossed that my pooch gets her 5 mins of fame she so definitely deserves. Good luck to everyone tho as everyone’s pooches will deserve it in there own special ways x
