Big Brother: Audience cancelled due to weather

There will be no outside audience for the first Big Brother live eviction.


Producers have decided to not have an outdoor audience due to the wind and rain which is battering the UK today. The programme will now come from Bit On The Side studio, where it will be announced either Lydia, Victoria or Conor are to evicted.

“The Big Brother audience has been CANCELLED for tonights show due to weather conditions. The Live show will take place in the BBBOTS studio. If you had tickets for tonight and have any queries, please contact Applause Store – 020 8324 2700.” – Message posted on Elstree Facebook page

This is not the first that there has been no audience for an eviction at Elstree Studios. In 2003, a bomb alert meant an eviction had to be delayed until Saturday. Gos was evicted on the Saturday without an audience. When Jade Goody was evicted again in 2007, she left the house to silence, following the racism allegations that dominated the series.
Big Brother Live Eviction airs tonight at 10.00pm on Channel 5.
