Soaps This Week: 18th – 22nd June

Karl and Sunita’s  secret affair looks close to being blown apart this week. Sunita is continuing to stay at the Rovers following Dev’s accusations a few weeks ago much to the annoyance of Eva and Karl, who finding it stressful having the woman he had an affair with living under his roof.
When Eva overhears Karl and Sunita talking, she enters and spots a large amount of money. Not quite sure what is going on she tells Stella who immediately assumes Karl is gambling again. When she find the money Stella explodes, throwing Karl out of the Rovers. Meanwhile Sunita heads back to Dev, but will he be willing to give their relationship a fresh start?

Elsewhere the ongoing bickering between Peter and Leanne over Simon continue. When Carla spots how sad Peter is without Simon she suggests they think about having children of their own. Also Tracy and Beth team up when Steve insists he is selling No.13

EMMERDALE / ITV 1

Cain issues a stark warning this week that he will ‘kill’ Cameron if he discovers he’s been cheating on his daughter Debbie. Chas plays along with Cain’s curiosity, offering to keep an eye on Cameron. Chas struggles as Debbie explains to Chas and Gennie how in love she is with Cameron and how they have both agreed it feels like they have fallen in love all over again.
After Chas questions Cameron on their relationship they meet up at Gennie’s house. As they become passionate they are stunned when Gennie enters and catches them on the couch. Gennie is disgusted at what she sees but panic sets in when she says that Debbie is on her way. As Debbie tells Gennie about her love for Cameron, will Gennie cover for the pair?

Holly and Hannah says their goodbyes in the pub before they leave the village for London. Ashley is left begging for another chance after Laurel tells him she wants a divorce. David proposes a fake marriage to Alicia to secure a better chance of keeping Jacob.

Janine calls off the wedding as all the recent stress begins to take its toll. When she informs Michael he is angry and storms off to the Vic, pinning the blame on Jean’s recent behaviour. Everything seems back on track when Diane and Ricky turn up to support their sister.
As residents continue to think Jean is falling ill again, Kat manages to get Michael to confess, but he later denies having any conversation of admission. At the wedding, Michael decides to confess all to Janine. As he issues her an ultimatum will she agree and will the wedding go ahead?

Tanya and Max learn of Abi’s engagement to Jay prompting them to pull out all the stops to convince Abi her life will be ruined by an early marriage. As Derek continues to show his true colours while pleasing Alice, he gets a taste of his own medicine when son Joey turns up and punches him!
