Tom Brokaw in "great health" following hospital discharge

Former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw has been discharged from hospital following health scare.

The 72 year old was taken to hospital after feeling “light headed” on the MSNBC morning talk show Morning Joe. It was said by NBC staff that Brokaw was taken to hospital “out of an abundance of caution.”
NBC News President Steve Capus said this afternoon said that the legendary anchor has now been discharged from hospital “in great health”.
Brokaw left as anchor of NBC Nightly News in 2004 but has continued to work for the network covering major news events and contributor to NBC News programming.
