Paralympic Closing Ceremony peaks at 7.7 million

The closing ceremony for the Paralympic Games attracted a peak of 7.7 million viewers, down on the opening ceremony.
The event, which was dominated by Coldplay, had an average of 5.9 million viewers for Channel 4 from 7.00pm – 11.05pm. The opening ceremony recorded a peak of 11.2 million viewers.
Later today Jon Snow and Clare Balding will be front coverage of the parade in London celebrating the Olympic and Paralympic athletes for Channel 4. There will also be live coverage on BBC One, Sky 1, Sky News and BBC News Channel.
