New American Idol line-up announced

FOX has announced that Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj have signed up for American Idol.


They will join original judge Randy Jackson and pop diva Mariah Carey, who signed earlier this year. The first round of auditions are expected to begin in New York this week.
Keith and Nicki replace Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler who quit after two years. FOX will be hoping to draw in younger viewers after the final this year was considerably down on last year.
