Sky News: Sam Kiley to become Middle East Correspondent

Sky News has announced new appointments for its foreign bureaus.


Sam Kiley, who is currently Defence and Security Editor, will take up a new role based in Jerusalem as Middle East Correspondent. Kiley has been a prominent correspondent on Sky News since 2010 reporting and bringing insight on security matters around the world.
He will replace Emma Hurd who is returning to South Africa and will report for Sky News on a freelance basis. Sky have now begun recruiting for a new Defence and Security Editor.
Hannah Thomas-Peter, who has been reporting from New York as been made New York Correspondent. Mark Stone will take up his new role in Beijing as Asia Correspondent.
