Sons of Anarchy actor Johnny Lewis dies in fall

Reports from the USA suggest Johnny Lewis, who played Kip Epps in the first two series of television drama Sons of Anarchy, died after falling from a wall after an incident which left his elderly landlady dead.

The incident which happened at the actor’s Hollywood home yesterday morning suggests that the 28-year-old had beaten his 81-year-old landlord to death, leaving her body on the driveway of his home.

Los Angeles County coroner’s office earlier today identified the deceased as the actor and his landlady Catherine Davis. Officials stated that the cause of both deaths were still pending confirmation as autopsies had yet to be carried out.

Police were called by neighbours in the Los Feliz area near Hollywood after residents noted the sound of screaming.

Lewis died while attempting to scale a high wall between two properties reports suggest. No details of what caused the incident have been released, however it is reported that the deceased male had also been arguing with two other males who were treated for minor injuries following an alleged fight which took place at across two properties, his and an adjoining house, which were divided by the wall which Lewis apparently fell from.

The actor had starred in television and movies for over a decade although mainly in supporting or minor roles.

Sons of Anarchy was earlier this year renewed for a further two more series, having debuted in 2008.
