Kym Marsh confirms surname change

Kym Marsh has confirmed that she plans to take her husband Jamie Lomas’s surname following their recent wedding.

The Coronation Street star tied the knot with former Hollyoaks actor Lomas last month at Nunsmere Hall Hotel in Cheshire after being engaged for two years.

Marsh told her followers on Twitter:  “So I’ve decided to change my name officially to Kym Lomas. Won’t be on the credits for Corrie for a few weeks as we film 6 weeks ahead.”

Marsh and Lomas first became a couple in 2008, the pair have a daughter together who was born last year.
