Steve Jones dropped as X Factor USA host?

Newspaper reports suggest that Steve Jones won’t be back next year as host of the X Factor USA.

Former T4 presenter Steve Jones landed the lucrative role as host of the first series of X Factor USA but it seem it will be the first and last for him. It’s claimed in The Mirror newspaper today that Jones’ contract was not renewed for the second series which is due to be screened next year on FOX.

Hollywood website Deadline suggests that X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger could become the main host. She was originally billed to be Steve’s co-host, but became part of the judging panel when Cheryl Cole was axed from the show.
