Fox orders new pilot – Divorce Hotel

Fox has ordered a pilot for a new show that charts the divorce of participating couples, Deadline reports.

Divorce Hotel sees estranged couples check into a luxury hotel for a single weekend then follows their experiences with lawyers and counsellors, with the pair checking out of the hotel on Sunday as divorcees.
The idea for the show comes from a Dutch business offering the service, with production company BASE securing the TV rights in 2011. BASE will co-produce with A. Smith & Co. Productions – the company behind Gordon Ramsay’s Fox shows Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.
