Spooks continue to haunt Sony Television
Sony Entertainment Television is to continue airing the popular former BBC drama series Spooks with the forth series airing from next month.
Spooks was a tense drama series about the missions and difficult challenges faced by the UK’s domestic intelligence organization, giving an insight into the world of deception and espionage that defines the MI5 as they work against the clock to safeguard the nation.
Created by writer David Wolstencroft and produced by Kudos Film and Television for the BBC, the show won a series of awards over its run from 2002 to 2011 including a BAFTA and RTS for ‘Best Drama Series’ as well as a further 17 BAFTA nominations, an Emmy nomination and one from the Directors Guild of Great Britain.
Spooks series 4 launches on Sony Entertainment Television at 9pm on Wednesday November 7th followed by the second episode at 9pm on Thursday November 8th. The series continues every Wednesday and Thursday at 9pm. The series re-run launched in May this year beginning with episode one of the first episode.
