Channel 5 inhabits the world of eccentric and glamorous pets

Channel 5 has announced two new documentaries featuring some of the most eccentric and glamorous pets from around the world: The World’s Most Pampered Pets and The World’s Biggest Pets.
For some pet owners, a pet is their whole world. The World’s Most Pampered Pets dives into the weird and wonderful world of these unusual owners to find out just why they decide to spend so much money on their beloved pets. We meet the world’s richest pets, including the dog that bought Madonna’s house and a chimpanzee called Kalu. Channel 5 will show the lizards that think they’re supermodels, seek out the powerful pets from the Queen’s corgi’s to Barack Obama’s pet dog Bo and see the last ever performance from Australia’s fashion ducks.
From Tokyo to Los Angeles, the series takes a tour around the world introducing us to some of the most indulged pets and their diva habits. Which pet will be crowned the world’s most pampered pet? If indulged pooches weren’t enough, then what about The World’s Biggest Pets?
The World’s Biggest Pets takes a look at the most super-sized of pets from all around the world. In this curious and enchanting one off we’ll meet the world’s biggest animals romping through the homes and neighbourhoods near you. Channel 5 cameras have seen cute and fluffy but now it’s time to meet the humongous.
Prepare yourself for looming seven feet tall dogs, rabbits the same weight as a 5 year old and the one of the biggest pets on the planet. If you thought your food bills were big, imagine what these owners must pay!
The World’s Most Pampered Pets will air in January and The World’s Biggest Pets will air at Christmas.
