Nikita Returning To Old Time Slot
Spy-action series Nikita is being moved back to its original time-slot by The CW.
The struggling drama, starring Maggie Q, launched its third series on The CW in a new 9pm slot on Friday evenings. However, it has struggled in the ratings with under 1 million viewers for recent episodes and an 18-49 rating of just 0.2.
The CW has now decided to return Nikita to its old 8pm slot on Friday evenings in a bid to improve the shows ratings. The showwill return to its old stomping ground on November 30th according to reports – at 9pm repeats of new series Arrow will air. Nikita is expected to be pulled from the schedule on Nov 23rd, December 14th and December 21st for holiday specials.
The CW renewed Nikita earlier this year for a third season despite the fact it has consistently struggled in the ratings.
